Southern Pacific 4-8-8-2 cab forward locomotive built by Baldwin in 1944. The cab-forward design that would save engineers from being asphyxiated by smokestack fumes in SP's numerous long mountain tunnels.

In the upstairs model train section, a toy train display is cleverly disguised as a rail passenger car.
A display of old Lionel train memorabilia is housed in a display styled like a classic Lionel station platform.
